Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship
“Architectural Terracotta : A transatlantic exploration of Opportunity” studying hostoric and contemporary applications of terracotta in UK compared with USA. Research in the form of meeting preservation architects, conservators, manufacturers and ceramicists working in the built environment took place in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.

Medina House is the last remaining architectural evidence of Brighton & Hove’s provenance for salt water bathing for its perceived medicinal benefits. Built in 1917 as Hove Bath and Laundry Company it is still a much loved building in a prominant location on Hove seafront although suffering from neglect and threatened by demolition and development.
