Droplet Pendant Light (5)

A handmade porcelain light with pendant droplets that evoke falling water. Droplet pendants provide ample diffused light, glowing warmly translucent when lit.

Droplets are hand cast in porcelain slip and polished to a smooth surface finish before glazing and firing. The lamp is then dipped into a shiny transparent glaze and catches the light, contrasting with the matt raw clay giving an organic tactile surface finish. Despite their delicate eggshell appearance they are very strong due to the natural strength of porcelain ceramic and its high firing temperature. There is natural variation in the clay which when lit gives a diffused light and describes the clay texture and hand crafted process used to make them as well making every light unique!

A flexible pendant, can be grouped as a tight cluster or arranged spread in a linear arrangement. Available in any number of droplets.

Each porcelain droplet measures H 13cm, W13cm

5 piece porcelain Droplet.
Supplied with a choice of 3 core woven fabric cord
White steel ceiling rose, 16cm diameter
E14 nickel bulb holders and cord grip
Tala Sphere I bulb

Pendant length is 1 metre from ceiling to end with the first droplet will hanging 30cm from the ceiling with the other droplets spaced below.
